07/25/2007 10:40 AM - KANSAS CITY, MO.—The Kansas City T-Bones and Titan Entertainment are eager to announce the Titan Fighting Championship's "TFC: Summer Series" coming to Community America Ballpark. The T-Bones will play host to Kansas City's premiere professional mixed-martial arts fighting championship this summer.
“We are thrilled to be teaming up with the T-Bones, and to be presenting our fights at beautiful Community America Ballpark,” said Joe Kelly, President of Titan Entertainment.
The fights will both take place on Friday evenings: July 27 and September 21. Any rainouts will push the event back one day to the immediate Saturday that follows. All fights will be broadcast on a one-week tape delay on MyKSMO-62, and the following week on Time Warner's MetroSports Channel 30 in Kansas City. Titan Fighting Championship's "TFC: Summer Series" promises to be two of the most exhilarating live outdoor events of an action-packed summer.

Also on the card, making her MMA debut, is top-ranked women's boxing star Franchescha Alcanter.
“Mixed-Martial Arts (MMA) fighting is a tremendously entertaining and fast-growing sport,” said Adam Ehlert, T-Bones Vice-President. “Titan Entertainment runs a very professional show, and we are confident the sport will lend itself well to the friendly confines of CommunityAmerica Ballpark for a first-rate fan experience.”
