"The tournament pass is a great bargain for fans to watch some of the best baseball in NCAA Division II," MIAA commissioner Jim Johnson said. "We've consistently sent multiple teams to the Division II Tournament, and it appears we could be well represented again this season."

The MIAA currently has two teams ranked in the Collegiate Baseball Division II Coaches Top 30 -- Emporia State at No. 4 and Central Missouri tied at No. 14.

ESU (36-3) enters action Wednesday (April 16) with win in its last 29 games (a league-record winning streak) and all 22 in conference play (matching the best start by a school in MIAA play). Central Missouri (28-8) is 17-3 in MIAA action and has victories in 16 of its last 19 games.

The top four teams in the MIAA standings at the conclusion of the regular season advance to the conference tournament.

This is the first year the NCAA Division II conference with 10 schools in Missouri and Kansas has conducted its tournament at the home of the Northern League's Kansas City T-Bones.
