T-Bones Announce 2005 Radio Agreement

02/23/2005 7:36 AM - KANSAS CITY – The Kansas City T-Bones of the Northern League have inked a deal to have all of their games, home and away, broadcast on 1340 KCKN-AM (All Comedy Radio in Kansas City) in 2005.

The T-Bones will be using KCKN as their flagship radio station in 2005. As in 2004, the T-Bones will also broadcast all of their games on the Internet; however, the streaming partner for 2005 is still in negotiations.

“Last season’s playoff run was a thrill, and it was terrific for our fans to hear the games all season long,” said T-Bones General Manager Rick Muntean. “Our relationship with KCKN provides an excellent outlet for our broadcasts.”

T-Bones Director of Media Relations Loren Foxx will again handle play-by-play for the season. For T-Bones fans who need their fix, the club will have an hour-long show on All Comedy Radio commencing on March 16 from 6-7 pm. Each Tuesday until the end of May, Foxx, Muntean, and T-Bones Manager “Dirty” Al Gallagher will be joined by Kansas City personalities and famous names from around the world of baseball.
