The Kansas City T-Bones embark on their final road trip of the 2008 season. The five-game road trip begins tonight with the first game of a quick two-game series against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. Probable starters for game one are Chris Shaver of the T-Bones facing Broc Coffman of the RedHawks. Shaver is 0-1 with a 3.60 ERA on the road this season.
This will be the first time the two teams have faced each other since July 29-31 in Kansas City. The T-Bones won the series, evening the season series between the two teams at seven. The first pitches for both games are scheduled for 7:00 at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo.
Kansas City heads further north in the final three games of the road trip to face the Winnipeg Goldeyes. It is the first time the two teams have met since July 22-24 in Winnipeg. After losing the series, Kansas City dropped to 8-9 against Winnipeg on the season. The first pitches are scheduled for 7:00 in the first two games with a 1:05 scheduled first pitch on Sunday to end the series.
Kansas City returns home for their final home stand of the season when Joliet comes to town on August 26. Joliet makes their last trip to Kansas City for a three-game set before the season concludes with a three-game weekend series against Fargo.
