Mother Nature Puts T-Bones and Goldeyes on Hold, Again

06/24/2009 9:07 PM -

The Kansas City T-Bones game against the Winnipeg Goldeyes has been suspended for the second night in-a-row due to unplayable field conditions caused by heavy rain.

The T-Bones are currently leading the Goldeyes, 1-0, after two innings of play.  This game will be resumed as the first game of a doubleheader on July 29 in Kansas City.  Yesterday’s suspended game will be finished as game one of a doubleheader on July 28.

The two teams will now play a doubleheader tomorrow morning.  Both games will be seven innings.  Chris Rhoads will take the mound in game one for Kansas City opposite Zach Baldwin and the Goldeyes.  Justin James gets the call for the T-Bones against Andrew Cruse for Winnipeg in game two.  First pitch of game one is set for 11:05.

Single-game tickets for the T-Bones are still available and start at just $6.  For more information, call 913-328-5618 or visit www.tbonesbaseball.com
