The Wingnuts extended their lead in the third, utilizing more clutch hitting.  With first and second and one out, Delgado picked up his second RBI of the game with a single through the middle of the diamond that scored Steve Pearson.  Later in the frame, Josh Horn and Michael Thompson hit consecutive two-out, RBI singles to give the Wingnuts a 4-0 advantage.

The T-Bones cracked into the lead in the sixth on a solo home run from Jake Blackwood.  Jim Fasano hit a solo home run to right field in the seventh to make it 4-2.

Wichita answered back in their half of the seventh.  Kennard Bibbs drew a lead off walk and advanced to third on a single by Kent Wright.  Steve Pearson was next and singled down the left field line to extend the Wingnuts' lead to 5-2.

The T-Bones pulled within one run in the eighth.  Jimmy Mojica lead off with a solo home run to left field.  Dwayne White added an RBI double later in the inning.

Wingnuts' starter Adam Cowart tossed three shutout innings, allowing two hits and striking out two.  Luke Massetti earned the win, pitching three strong innings in relief of Cowart.  Massetti allowed one run on three hits.  Cephas Howard struck out Jake Bradshaw with the tying and go-ahead runs on base to end the game and earn the save.  The Wingnuts finish the spring 1-2.
