The Kansas City T-Bones (1-0) exploded onto the American Association scene on Thursday night with a 14-2 win over the El Paso Diablos (0-1) in El Paso, TX.

Kansas City grabbed a quick 2-0 lead against Shaun Ellis (0-1) in the first inning on a two-run double by Ray Sadler (pictured). After a scoreless second inning, the T-Bones pushed their early advantage to 5-0 with a bases-clearing double by Aharon Eggleston, who signed with the team prior to the game.

El Paso picked up their first run against Ryne Reynoso (1-0) with an RBI single by Gerardo Avila. Johan Garcia added the final Diablos tally with an RBI single in the fourth to pull El Paso within three, 5-2.

The T-Bones added another run in the fifth to chase Ellis from the contest. After pushing the score to 7-2 with a run in the sixth, Kansas City put the game away with a four-run seventh that began with an RBI triple by Rico Washington.

Jimmy Mojica made the score to 12-2 with a solo home run in the eighth and two additional runs in the ninth capped the scoring at 14-2. Six T-Bones posted multi-hit games, with Sadler and Eggleston driving in three runs each.
