03/29/2007 8:47 AM - KANSAS CITY, Kan. The Kansas City T-Bones of the independent Northern League are proud to announce a new partnership with Entercom Kansas City. Entercom has agreed to carry all 96 T-Bones games for the 2007 season. Ninety-two games will be broadcast on KXTR-AM 1660. Four games will be broadcast on KCSP-AM 610: opening night on May 17, June 6, July 22 and August 2.
"We are thrilled to have all the T-bones games carried live on 1660 and 610 sports, said T-Bones general manager Rick Muntean. It will give all T-Bones fans the chance to follow the team all season long. We look forward to working together with Entercom on the great promotional schedule we have put together. It will be a mutually rewarding partnership and great for the fans."
Tommy Thrall will serve as the play-by-play broadcaster on all 96 games. He has worked on T-Bones broadcast for the past two and a half seasons.
The T-Bones open play on May 17 against the Schaumburg Flyers with a 7:05 p.m. start at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.
