08/18/2003 9:40 AM - If a first pitch of a game is any indication of how that game will end, the T-Bones knew they were in for a rough game. On the first pitch, Geoff McCallum doubled up the middle, and advanced to third on an error. The Flyers scored three runs in the first inning, but more Schaumburg scoring was on the horizon.
The T-Bones answered back in the second with a two run homer from designated hitter Chad Shindle. The T-Bones would not score again, however, until the ninth inning when pinch hitter Chris LePine advanced home on a sacrifice fly from short stop Jack Jones. The Flyers scored two runs in the third and fourth innings, one in the seventh, and two in the ninth for a total of 10 runs.
