Adam Ehlert has happily been a Kansas resident for more than a decade, having moved the not-yet-named T-Bones from Minnesota in the fall of 2002. Locally he serves on the TURF (T-Bones Uncommitted Recreation Fund) Board and the Mayor’s Health Council. He’s also a Charter Member of the Village West Rotary Club, serving on its Board of Directors for several years and as the 2010-11 club president. In 2017-18 he will serve as District Governor for the 47 Rotary clubs that make up the state’s eastern district. Ehlert is a graduate (B.A., Political Science) of American University in Washington, D.C. He and his wife Heather live in Overland Park, Kansas, with Moxie, their 5-year old Doberman. In the months outside the baseball season, the couple enjoys rooting for the Kansas Jayhawks of Heather’s alma mater and that of Heather’s late father Al, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. When not cheering on his favorite sports teams, volunteering or patrolling the neighborhood for squirrels with Moxie, Adam’s other interests include reading, running, tennis, and golf.
