Chris Browne has been a T-Bones staffer from before day one, joining the front office in September 2002. Browne kicked off his career in style, serving as a bat boy/clubhouse attendant for the 1985 World Champion Kansas City Royals. Since completing his degree at the University of Missouri, focusing on Sports Management, Chris served as Director of Stadium Operations for the Double-A Jacksonville Suns and as Assistant General Manager of the Kansas City Comets. For Browne, the 2013 campaign will be 22nd season as an executive in professional sports, and his fifth as General Manager after taking over following the T-Bones 2008 championship season. Under his direction, the club was awarded Field of the Year in both 2009 and 2010, as well as Organization of the Year in 2010 after the organization finished in the top five of all of independent baseball in attendance. In the spring of 2011, Browne received the Excellence in Hospitality Award by the Kansas City, Kansas Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. A devoted fan of the Missouri Tigers, Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, Chris lives in Lenexa with his wife Rebecca, son Brett, daughter (Pee Wee) Reese, and yellow lab, Quincy.
