Cheryl Reitmeyer has served as the T-Bones Host Family Director since 2013. The T-Bones host family program helps the ball club find a home away from home for the team's players and helps them adjust to their new baseball home in KC. Under her guidance the T-Bones host family program has become recognized across the minor leagues as one of the model programs of it's type. Often times at a moments notice Cheryl and her group swing into action to find a home for new T-Bones players through out the season. The host families really are the life blood of the T-Bones family taking care of needs large and small and in many cases forging relationships that last a lifetime.
Cheryl is a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas and has been married to husband Robin for 24 years. She is the mother of three daughters, grandmother of eight, but young at heart. Because of her love of baseball and being a host family herself, she volunteered to coordinate the Host Family Program in 2013. As the Host Family Director she enjoys working with the staff, families and players. "I am proud of the program that we have and made some wonderful friends through this experience," according to Cheryl. She adds, "I enjoy meeting and getting to know the players. It is also so much fun and very rewarding".
