05/18/2006 5:22 PM - Kansas City- The Kansas City T-Bones of the Northern League have inked a
deal to have all of their games, home and away, and the Northern League All-Star Game on two Kansas City area radio stations.
Monday through Saturday, T-Bones games will be broadcast on "The
Light," 1030 KCWJ-AM, while Sunday games will be aired on 610 KCSP-AM (610
Sports in Kansas City). The T-Bones will also broadcast all of their games on the Internet. Fans may listen to all games by clicking the "Listen Live" link at
"We are thrilled to be a part of T-Bones baseball and we think it is a great
fit as we continue to balance sports and religious programming," said Jason
Friedline, Sales Manager for KCWJ radio.
T-Bones Director of Media Relations, Loren Foxx, will again handle play-by-play for the season. He will be joined by broadcast assistant Tommy Thrall.
KCWJ is an independent Kansas City radio station broadcasting both sports
and Christian programming. They stream 24 hours a day at www.1030thelight.com.
KCSP, also known as 610 Sports, is located in Mission, Kan. The Entercom-owned station broadcasts sports programming 24 hours a day, and may be found at www.610sports.com.
